  • Hosted a webinar in August 2020 about the importance of AAPI in Politics ahead of the 2020 presidential election that included prominent politicians and advocates

  • Hosted a webinar series in Virginia with experts on topics ranging from how to best respond to anti-AAPI sentiment resulting from COVID-19 to AAPI Mental Health and Wellness

  • Invited to the Virginia Asian Advisory Board “Real Talk” event to speak about the importance of infusing awareness of other cultures into education

  • Currently working on curriculum addendums to middle school history lessons that shine light on the AAPI community’s place in American history

3D Printing Volunteer and Community Outreach Lead

PROJECT YOUTH COVID-19 RELIEF ORGANIZATION

  • Designed and created over 100 face masks and face shields using computer aided design software and a 3D printer

  • Organized a school-wide online fundraiser for the local hospital, Virginia Hospital Center, and donated lunch to them through a local-owned restaurant
